Schoellhorn-Albrecht Manufactures Capstans and Deck Fittings for Explosive Handling Wharf 2, (EHW-2)

Schoellhorn-Albrecht completed a contract to manufacture 40 HP Dry dock Capstans, four roller chocks, double bitts and cleats for the Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor Explosives Handling Wharf 2.

The second explosives handling wharf will support current and future Trident Fleet Ballistic Missile program requirements for the eight Trident submarines.

The Capstans feature 40 HP motors, 24” barrels and feature a Dry Dock Control System.  The Capstans and Deck Fittings were made in USA.
